Nominate a Sweet Survivor

Each year, Krewe de Pink celebrates six extraordinary Sweet Survivors at our signature event, Death by Chocolate…NOT Breast Cancer. These inspiring honorees serve as ambassadors for our mission—helping raise awareness and support for innovative breast cancer research therapies.

Breast cancer touches people of all genders, ages, families, and communities. If you or someone you know is currently facing breast cancer, has survived it—no matter how long ago—or has been a passionate advocate for the cause, we invite you to submit a nomination using the form below. If needed, you may also share the link with your nominee so they can complete the personal statements themselves.

The Criteria: We honor survivors and those currently on their breast cancer journey who embody our mission by uplifting others, promoting wellness, and being active voices in the community. To see examples of the incredible individuals we have recognized in the past, you can view past survivors here.

The Ask: Sweet Survivors are asked to share their story, attend a pre-event meet and greet with fellow and past survivors, and be present at the main event as we celebrate their strength, advocacy, and impact.

The Requirements: Nominees must reside in Orleans, Jefferson, St. Tammany, St. Bernard, St. James, or Plaquemines Parish. Only one nomination may be submitted per person, and all forms must be completed in full.

The Deadline: Nominations are due by July 15, 2026.

The Fine Print: Nomination form statements, personal statements, bios, and photos may be used to help promote our mission and celebrate the Sweet Survivors.
